„Never Never“ by Colleen Hoover & Tarryn Fisher
Would you still like your life if you were looking at it from the outside? Would you still like yourself, if you couldn’t remember the reason to why you did certain things? And would you suddenly be a different person, if you had no memories? That’s what Charlie and Silas are figuring out in „Never Never“, and honestly, I didn’t expect it to be as brilliant and thrilling as it is.
I thought it was going to be a lovey-dovey lovestory, where Silas and Charlie go through all their memories of first kisses and dates and stuff and rekindle their love… but it’s not. It’s totally different, but you have to read it for yourself to see why. It’s a short book, so you should definitely go and do that Right. Now. Or wait until May, so you don’t have to wait for Part 2 for too long (the cliffhanger is soo mean!! Whyyyy…!?)
The writing is really „easy“, so if you’re not fluent in English, and you’re looking for a book to get into reading in English, this short novel is definitely for you. It’s also for you if you are looking for something to read after finishing „We Were Liars“, I think „Never Never“ would be perfect to get over that mess.
4 Stars (because rating books is difficult and mind bending… maybe 4.5, 4.75… !?)
