„The Shadow Cabinet“ by Maureen Johnson (Shades of London #3)
Thanks to Amazon Germany messing up, I got a late Christmas present in form of „The Shadow Cabinet“. A book that is set to come out in February 2015… a book I have been excited about ever since finishing „The Madness Underneath“, the cliffhanger in that book was just cruel. So, thank you Amazon!
I started and finished „The Shadow Cabinet“ pretty much in one go on New Years Eve, and it was amazing! There’s no way to review this without spoilering you in all kinds of ways. So I’m not going to say much, Though I’ll probably rave about it a lot more closer to it’s publication date.
This is the best third book in a series I have ever read (what a weird sentence, but the truth). It was nothing what I thought it would be, but in a good way. The plot developed in ways I had never expected, almost everything that happened was a surprise to me (good surprises, and bad surprises).
For now, just know that Maureen did the first two books justice, she did more than that. Readers won’t be disappointed.
If you haven’t started the Shades of London series yet, you should do so before February, and just jump right into „The Shadow Cabinet“. I highly recommend this series!
Maybe the first book I finished in 2015 will be my favourite… right now it feels like it.
